How to Style Statement Earrings From Day to Night

Let me tell you a story...

When I was growing up, I was taught that fine jewelry was for fancy occasions and costume jewelry was for every day wearing. There was no mixing. Ever. My whole life, I just accepted this bizarre “rule” until one day in my mid twenties I realized how ridiculous that was. My new outlook quickly became - if I want to wear it, I’ll wear it.

I’m telling you all this because I know there are more people out there like me. I know there are people who struggle with transitioning jewelry from day to night, from casual to black tie, from running errands to grabbing cocktails with friends.... You get my point...

And that’s where I come in. You need to stop thinking of jewelry in terms of day/night, fancy/casual, summer/winter.... and start thinking of it as jewelry. 

It. Is. That. Simple. 

After all of my years making fabulous jewelry, I have one piece of advice and that is - if you like it, wear it. I have seen moods lifted and personalities changed all with jewelry. 

When looking to style your outfits, look at the colors. Do they match? Are they complimentary? When you wear these pieces do you feel some extra pep in your step? If you answer yes to any of these, then the answer is yes... wear the jewelry...
